Purpose of the Role :
The candidate would be placed in CFR Global Decision Science & Data Strategy in an Analyst role and would be responsible for coming up with Data science backed solutions to optimize acquisitions from Media channel (via People based marketing) and Partner channels (cobrand acquisitions). Experience in business application of ML/AI techniques is needed. Understanding of digital channel targeting is good to have.

- Devise, design & develop cutting edge, customized machine learning algorithms
- Leverage the power of closed loop through Amex network to make offer targeting more intelligent and relevant.
- Innovate with a focus on developing newer and better approaches using big data & machine learning solution.
- Stay current in their field and up to date with the latest data science, machine learning, business statistics, algorithms and data mining practices.
- Understand and have a passion for trends in digital marketing, social, location and mobile based marketing efforts.
Requirements :
- 0-2 years’ experience in Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related fields.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields from Premier Institutes only.
Functional/Technical Skills :
- Having proficiency in Python is essential.
- Exposure to distributed scripting languages like Pyspark / Hive is a plus.
- Advanced Statistical Techniques: Gini, Concordance, F-Score.
- Preferred Knowledge of tree-based algorithms like XGBoost, LightGBM, CatBoost and Random Forests.
- Knowledge of Digital Channels & Products.
- Expertise in High Performance Computing
- Knowledge of Platforms Hadoop/Spark, Big Data – Cornerstone
