An eShram Card will be issued to workers who successfully register for the e-Shram Portal. On that card, there will be a 12-digit UAN number. Self-registered workers who use the e-Shram portal do not need to apply individually for any other government social welfare program.
Skill India: Skill India or the National Skills Development Mission of India is a campaign launched by our Prime Minister. It is managed by the National Skills Development Corporation of India.NSDC under the guidance of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship has introduced an initiative which allows aspirant candidates to register for skill training/learning and employment opportunities through the online portal. It is an umbrella scheme that has many skilling schemes and programmes under it. The chief objective is to empower the youth of the country with adequate skill sets that will enable their employment in relevant sectors and also improve productivity.
Stand Up India: Stand Up India Scheme facilitate bank loans between 10 lakh and 1 crore to atleast one scheduled caste (SC) or Scehduled Tribe, borrower and atleast one women per bank branch for setting up a greenfield enterprise. This enterprise may be in manufacturing, services or the trading sector. In case of non-individual enterprises at least 51% of the shareholding and controlling stake should be held by either an SC/ST or Woman entrepreneur.
PM Ayushmann Bharat Yojana: Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana is a national public health insurance fund of the Government of India that aims to provide free access to health insurance coverage for low income earners in the country. Roughly, the bottom 50% of the country qualifies for this scheme.
