Sound knowledge of at least one modern programming language such as C, C++, Java,. Experience tools for automation (building, testing, releasing or monitoring). Strong Unix base O/S experience or proven ability to pick up Linux quickly. Ability to do scripting (any one of Shell, Perl, Python etc.). Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills. Experience on highly concurrent, high throughput systems and knowledge of complex distributed systems.
